How To Install AC EV Charger PEVC2107E ?

1.Site Preparation

Select a vertical, load-bearing wall or steel column 1.2 m above ground. Ensure 30 cm clearance on every side; avoid direct spray from sprinklers or exhaust vents. Inspect the box for shipping damage and confirm the kit: EV AC charger, wall bracket, 5 m charging cable, four M6 screws, wall plugs, RFID card, and quick-start guide.

2.Electrical Supply

Have a licensed electrician install a dedicated 32 A, 230 V single-phase breaker, Type-A RCD and Class-II surge protector in the distribution board. Run 3 × 6 mm² Cu cable (L, N, PE) through 25 mm conduit to the mounting point; leave 1 m of free conductor.

3.Mechanical Mounting

Hold the back-plate against the wall, level it, mark four Ø6 mm holes, drill 50 mm deep, insert plugs and tighten M6 screws with 20 N·m torque. Hook the AC charging station onto the plate and secure with the anti-theft key.

4.Wiring & Sealing

Open the front door with the supplied key. Route supply cable through the bottom gland; strip 10 mm insulation. Insert L, N and PE into the spring-cage terminals (labelled clearly inside) and torque to 1.5 N·m. Close the door and tighten the gland to IP65 seal.

5.Network Setup

Power on; the 4.3-inch LCD shows “Welcome.” Connect via Bluetooth or scan the QR code to open the SINO APP. Select language, set max current (16 A/32 A), enable RFID or plug-and-charge, and enter OCPP server URL if remote monitoring is desired.

6.Commissioning Test

Plug the Type 2 gun into your EV, swipe the RFID card; blue LED blinks, then turns solid while charging. Monitor voltage, current and kWh on the screen or app. Press the emergency stop once to confirm immediate shutdown; release and twist to reset.

Other Considerations

✅E-Mobility AC fast charger Must Be Connected Utilising Its Own Cable.
No additional appliances should be connected to the cable leading from the fuse box to the charging station.
✅Use The Right Cable For EV Charging Load.
If the charging current is 16A or above we recommend a cable with a minimum cross-section area of 2.5 mm2 or more, allowing the vehicle to be charged with a charging power of 11-22 kW. For a three-phase charger, a 5-conductor supply cable must be used.
✅Which Types of Residual Current Devices Are There?
However, Various AC wallbox chargers in the EVSE range already come with an in-built RCD Type A or B with full protection, so extra RCD will be needed
✅Installing the appropriate circuit breaker for your charger
The circuit breaker ensures that the circuit is broken if too much electricity flows through the cable. The circuit breaker must be in alignment with the nominal current, in the case of the required charging power.
